2024

The 2024 Annual Spring Meeting & Dinner was held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Charley's Steakhouse in Orlando, FL.  Sylvia Fung Chin was presented the Homer Kripke Achievement Award  for her years of contributions in the field of commercial finance and to the College.  The newest class of Regents was voted into office, and the 2024-2025 Executive Committee was introduced.  Introduction was made for the (15) New Fellows that were inducted in to the College during the Fellows Annual Meeting:

2022

  • The 2022 Annual Meeting & Dinner was held on Saturday, April 2 at the historical Vancouver Club in Atlanta, GA. Fellows Steven L. Harris and William H. Henning  were presented the Homer Kripke Achievement Award  in late 2021 or their leadership and history of exceptional dedication to the improvement of commercial finance law and practice.  The newest class of Regents was voted into office, and the 2022-2023 Executive Committee was introduced.

  • The College's 2022 Fall Dinner was held on Saturday, September 17 at the University Club of Washington D.C., following the ABA Business Law Section Annual Meeting.  The Fellowship and their guests took advantage of the Club’s ambiance and renowned culinary fare with a well-deserved "time out", and filled the evening with camaraderie and relaxed interaction, after a week of business and learning at the ABA meetings.  The dinner was very well attended, and registrations for the Advanced Seminar a comment on the topic, the times, and the presenters!

  • The Fall Advanced Seminar was held Sunday morning, September 18, at The Washington Hilton, Washington, DC  for the three-hour seminar.  The Advanced Seminar focused on Emerging Trends in Legal Opinions on Commercial Finance Transactions featuring Fellows Marshall Grodner, Kim Desmarais, Juliet Moringiello, Steven Weise and Charles Mooney. Special Guest:  David Miller, a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and an active participant in the ACREL Attorney's Opinion Committee as well as the Working Group on Legal Opinions.
